Beginning in 1997, the Swedish-American Entrepreneurial Days has been held annually at various locations in Sweden and the U.S. The Entrepreneurial Days in Chicago, April 16-18 2007, attracted the largest number of Swedish companies ever. Over 140 Swedish-based companies attended. The number of individuals exceeded 450.

The tools that are used to encourage business and trade between the two countries are among others; custom tailored business to business cluster programs, business to business trade missions, and business matchmaking.

Building on an already successful concept of business matchmaking, interactive exhibits, expert panels and seminars, and effective networking, the 2007 Entrepreneurial days in South Sweden will bring attention to "Global Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Investments"
